28-Day Plant-Based Kickstart | 3rd Annual Program

  

The Healthy Living With A Vision Foundation is excited to announce our third annual 28-Day Plant-Based Kickstart, a FREE, four-week Zoom town hall series focused on heart health—the foundation of longevity and quality of life.


As we begin the new year, our focus is clear. Heart disease remains the number one cause of death in the United States, yet much of the risk for heart attacks, strokes, and long-term disability can be reduced through informed diet and lifestyle choices. This year’s theme is Love Your Heart. Live Your Best brings science, strategy, and support together to help you take meaningful action.


What to Expect

This program features five respected health professionals who will guide you through practical, evidence-based approaches to heart health—covering nutrition, habits, prevention, and long-term sustainability.

Featured Speakers

  • Dr. Farid Zarif, Doctor of Nutrition, will discuss the powerful role food plays in cardiovascular health, highlighting foods to include and foods to limit for optimal heart protection.
  • Phyllis Leon, Certified Health Coach, will introduce sustainable healthy habits and share coaching tips designed to help participants stay motivated and consistent.
  • Deepa Deshmukh, Plant-Based Certified Dietitian, will provide deeper insight into food quality, micronutrients, and dietary balance for long-term wellness.
  • Dr. Danish Atwal, Board-Certified Cardiologist, will explore prevention      strategies, diagnostic testing, and heart screenings, helping participants understand when and how to monitor heart health.
  • Dr. James Thompson, Medical Director of the Healthy Living With A Vision Foundation, will conclude the series by summarizing key takeaways and outlining practical, long-term habits to support a healthier heart.


Program Schedule & Format

  • Begins:      Tuesday, January 20 at 7:00 PM Central Time
  • Continues:  Three additional Tuesdays
  • Session      Length: One hour each, with ample time for live Q&A
  • Format:      Live Zoom town hall

Based on participant feedback from prior years, we recognize that questions often exceed available time. To ensure everyone feels heard and supported, we are adding a special one-hour Zoom Q&A session on Sunday afternoon following each Tuesday event.
